Problem Identified:How to decrease Electricity bill and global warming in summer

Solution:

Generally we use air conditioners and coolers during summer to avoid hotness. Due to these there is more electricity bill at the same time pollution to the environment. To overcome this problem 6th class students prepared a natural cooler which decreases electricity bill and pollution. For this we need table fan two water bottles and ice cubes. By these we can try to reduce pollution and hotness

Problem Identified:Paper pencil

Solution:

Generally in all schools students use pencil to write. For manufacturing of the pencil we need wood. That wood we are getting from plants, So we are killing plants to get pencils. To stop killing plants here a solution by 7th class students, that is to use paper pencil. Even the paper comes from plants we can recycle the paper to make pencils. The procedure is soak the waste paper and mould in the form of pencil and insert the lid which useful in write. In this way we can reduce killing the plants

Problem Identified:To stop soil errosion and damage of roots from water pressure

Solution:

In our house when the water tank over flows water comes down forcefully to ground which leads to soil erosion and damage to the roots of the plants. To reduce this problem we have to decrease the force of water by arranging pipes at the top of the tank to ground level. Now the water comes to the ground with less force. By this we can soil erosion and damage to the roots of the plants.

Problem Identified:How to stop running in corridors

Solution:

The primary problem in the school sis students running in corridors. If they run in the corridors they may slip and get fractured, this may lead to injury. To overcome this problem here is a solution by 6th class students. That is by pasting some interesting cartoons, drawings, craft works in our interior. By observing colourful pictures on the walls they may stop running and observe carefully, so by these we can stop running in the corridors.

Problem Identified:Small ailments and home remedies

Solution:

Normally the children are affected by seasonal colds & cough and parents use many kinds of syrups to prevent seasonal diseases. By these syrups the children go to deep sleep& it affects their health. The remedy for this at home cloves, cinnamon, turmeric, honey, tulasi by these we can cure small ailments.

Problem Identified: Oil Spills

Solution:While transferring the oil ships from one coastal region to another due to some accidents oil leakage may occur. The leaked oil forms layer on the seas which does not allow sunlight to sea where it leads ecological imbalance .The solution for this by growing bacteria ( Alcanivorax borkumensis)which feed on oil.

Problem Identified:How to use dry fallen leaves and twigs in the campus

Solution:In our surroundings we find many dry fallen leaves and twigs. And these materials can be used as natural manure. Dig a small pit in one of the corners of the school and put the collected dry leaves & twigs with water and mud and allow it to decompose. After few days we can use it as manure for the plants especially we can use it as natural manure for our school Maa Thota.
