Sunday Long walk

 *Sunday Long Walk*

*_**_**_*_

Today, the hostel children of Teja Vidyalaya went to Bobbalamma Gutta for a long walk trip. On a cool evening when the sky was overcast and it was about to rain, the children went on this long walk to enjoy nature. In a way, this can be called a trekking trip. This small hill, adjacent to Komarabanda, is located 1,250 meters above sea level. From here, the surrounding areas of Kodad are visible.

Kodad Lake, Komarabanda Lake, and Vayila Singaram Lake can be seen. The entire Komarabanda village is clearly visible. This hill got the name Bobbalamma Gutta after Bobbalamma, the village deity of the people of Komarabanda. A fair is held here at the beginning of the monsoon season.

Grass flowers on the temple hill, boulders, clusters of trees below the hill, and mango groves and palm groves in the distance offer a chance to enjoy the beautiful nature.

At the start of every academic year, this trip becomes a small, memorable experience for the students. This year, the rain showers during the trip brought boundless joy to the children.

Hostel children love going on such trips as a Sunday recreation. Warden Suresh and Physical Education Teacher Tirumala participated in this trip.

Morning Satsang at Teja Vidyalaya: Learning Through the Theme of the Week

At Teja Vidyalaya, we believe that education should nurture not only academic achievement but also values, character, and life skills. Our daily Morning Satsang provides students with an opportunity to begin the day with positivity, discipline, and meaningful learning experiences.

A unique feature of our Morning Satsang is the Theme of the Week. Every week, a specific theme is selected to guide students' thoughts, discussions, and activities. Themes such as Responsibility, Respect, Kindness, Environmental Awareness, Leadership, Time Management, Health and Hygiene, and National Pride help students connect classroom learning with real-life values.

During the assembly, students actively participate in prayer, news reading, speeches, presentations, and value-based discussions related to the weekly theme. These activities encourage critical thinking, creativity, and self-reflection. Students are given opportunities to express their ideas, share experiences, and learn from one another in a supportive environment.

The Morning Satsang also includes breathing exercises, motivational messages, and awareness programs that contribute to students’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being. By focusing on a common theme throughout the week, students gain a deeper understanding of important values and develop habits that positively influence their daily lives.

This structured approach helps create a strong sense of unity and purpose among students while fostering confidence, communication skills, leadership qualities, and social responsibility.
