Building Young Readers: Our School Magazine & Newspaper Reading Corner
At Teja Vidyalaya, we believe that reading is the foundation of lifelong learning. To nurture curiosity, creativity, and awareness, we have created a dedicated Reading Rack stocked with carefully selected newspapers and magazines for our students.
Our reading collection includes:
- The Hindu – Helping students stay informed about national and international current affairs while improving their language skills.
- Young World – A child-friendly weekly publication filled with stories, science, puzzles, quizzes, and inspiring articles that make learning enjoyable.
- Teen Digest – Designed especially for teenagers, this magazine offers motivational stories, career guidance, general knowledge, life skills, and personality development content.
- The Hindu In School – An engaging educational newspaper that strengthens vocabulary, reading comprehension, critical thinking, and awareness through age-appropriate articles and activities.
Students are encouraged to spend time at the reading rack every day. Regular reading not only improves vocabulary and communication skills but also develops confidence, creativity, analytical thinking, and a habit of staying informed about the world around them.
